GAME WORKSHOP

The Romans were in Aachen before Charlemagne. Roman board and dice games are built and played in the museum workshop. The round mill game, which is reminiscent of our modern-day mill game, was very popular. The delta game is about precise aiming and the game with knucklebones (small animal bones) is about skilful dice rolling.
