PARK + RIDE
Relax in the city centre with special bus tickets
Those arriving by car should take advantage of the City of Aachen's Park & Ride service to get to the Christmas Market or shopping in the city centre by bus in a cheap, fast and relaxed way.
For all those interested, there is a special Park+Ride ticket available all year round on the bus or at the entrance to the Tivoli car park. This is valid as a parking ticket on the day of purchase, is valid for up to 5 people for the outward and return journey and costs 5 euros.
Around 1560 P+R spaces are available in Aachen: at the Westfriedhof (Vaalser Straße), at the Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Straße), at the Jülicher Straße/Berliner Ring car park and in the Tivoli multi-storey car park.
On Saturdays: Shuttle bus service from the Tivoli Stadium to the city centre
On the five Saturdays before Christmas (23.11., 30.11., 07.12., 14.12., 21.12.) there will also be a special shuttle bus from the Tivoli car park to the city centre. The shuttle bus will run from 12 noon to 9 p.m. from the Sportpark Soers bus stop to the Elisenbrunnen and back. Together with the buses of line 51 and the additional buses of ASEAG on Saturdays, you can travel to the city centre and back every 7.5 minutes on this route.
P+R tickets are available from the drivers on the buses except at the Tivoli, where you will receive the ticket as soon as you enter the multi-storey car park; the ticket is valid as a ticket.

The Büchel multi-storey car park in Aachen city centre no longer exists.

BUS PARKING „BENDPLATZ“
Shuttle bus especially for bus travellers
For all bus travellers, there is a shuttle bus that takes you from the Bendplatz (bus car park) to the city centre and back every 10 minutes.
The service runs daily from 9:30 to 18:30 .
A ticket costs € 3 per person.

The walk from the bus car park "Bendplatz" to the Christmas Market is about 1200 metres and is signposted accordingly.
